Big Bear Hug

Hi guys,

Every winter, one of my traditions is buying one or more festive sweaters, and wearing them makes me 10 times happier around the holidays. I fell in love with this year's sweater the second I saw it. It was screaming my name :). The bear has the cutest little face, he has his own festive sweater and... the cherry on top: he wears glasses. I mean... c'mon! Cuteness overload! I paired it with a simple shirt dress, and it is the star of today's post.

I hope you'll enjoy the photos. Me and my bear wish you a wonderful week ahead and blessed holidays!

Talk 'nerdy' to me

Hi guys,

My, oh, my, how time flies! Christmas is just around the corner, with only 10 days left until this magical holiday! The weather looks more like a late autumn but I guess I'm getting used to snow-less December because it doesn't seem to bother me at all. I enjoy everything this jolly season brings, from quality family time, carols and gifts, to cozy evenings, warm tea and gingerbread cookies.

I'm super excited for the following weeks, it truly is the most wonderful time of the year!

Many hugs!

P.S. Went to the ophthalmologist last week, and it seems that I'm stuck with this new accessory of mine for a while :). Yay for glasses and finally seeing clearly!

The painted veil

Hi guys,

It's December! Time for gifts, family, cookies, lights and happy faces! Even without snow, this jolly month doesn't lose its charm. We dressed our little home in holiday outfits and we anxiously await for the tree to complete our cozy little wonderland.

This year has been bittersweet for me. In April, right before Easter, I lost my Grandmother. It came as a shock to me, even though I'm perfectly aware that nobody lives forever.. Still, I was somehow in denial when it came to my grandparents getting old and dying... This will be the first Christmas without her and I won't be sad! I won't! I will be happy and grateful! Grateful for the warmest soul that guided my way in life, since the very beginning! Grateful for my memories and for my perfect childhood! Grateful for her sweet, sweet voice, her hands, her heart! Grateful for her stories, her songs and the many ways she colored my life!

I wish you all a wonderful month of celebration and love!

Have a great week!
